Maternity & Newborn Photography for Cibolo, TX Families
Cibolo is one of the fastest-growing communities in the San Antonio area, and it shows — new master-planned neighborhoods, new parks, and no shortage of young families just getting started. It’s the kind of place where a nursery is always being painted somewhere on the block. At Maria Bercher Photography, we love being part of that growth, helping Cibolo parents mark this chapter with a maternity photo session that captures the glow of pregnancy, a maternity photoshoot the whole family can share in, or newborn photography and infant portraits that freeze those first sleepy days before they’re gone.

Maternity Photography for Cibolo Mamas-to-Be
Pregnancy is a season you’ll only get once with this baby, and it goes by faster than anyone warns you. A professional maternity photo session is your invitation to pause, feel beautiful, and capture images you’ll treasure long after the newborn haze has passed.
Maria brings 15 years of experience — and four pregnancies of her own — to every maternity photoshoot, so she genuinely understands what it feels like to stand in front of a camera at 32 weeks. She’ll help you relax, guide you into poses that flatter rather than feel forced, and capture the real anticipation of waiting to meet your baby.
For Cibolo clients, the sweet spot for a pregnancy photoshoot usually falls between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully full but you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the session. Choose from Maria’s studio collection of flowing maternity gowns, or bring your own look. Partners, siblings, and grandparents are always welcome to be part of the shoot.

Newborn Photography: The Tiny Details That Disappear So Fast
In the blur of those first two weeks — feedings, swaddles, and endless sleepy snuggles — your newborn is already changing by the day. Professional newborn photography captures exactly how small your baby is right now, in newborn portraits you’ll return to for the rest of your life.
Having photographed over 1,000 babies, Maria puts your newborn’s comfort and safety above everything else. The studio is kept cozy, around 80 degrees, because warm, sleepy babies make for the most peaceful newborn portraits. Plan on 2 to 4 hours for the session — feeding breaks, diaper changes, and extra cuddle time are simply part of the process, not an interruption to it.
Because the ideal window for newborn portraits is 6 to 14 days after birth, when babies are still curly and deeply sleepy, we recommend booking your newborn photographer before your baby is even born. Reserve your spot while you’re pregnant, and Maria will hold a place near your Cibolo due date.

Serving Cibolo & the Northeast San Antonio Suburbs
Cibolo families are used to a bit of a drive — whether for work, dinner, or specialty services — and Maria’s studio, an easy trip in via I-35 or FM 1103 and I-10, is well worth adding to the list for a photographer who truly understands this stage of life.
A lot of our Cibolo families book both a maternity session and a newborn session as a set, and Maria offers special package pricing for that combination. It’s the most complete way to document the journey from bump to baby, with one trusted photographer by your side the entire time.
